DMX Arrested for Driving Without a License

DMX has never been very good at complying with the rules of the road.  The rap star’s neglect of driving laws has landed him in jail, yet again.

According to TMZ, X was arrested early this morning in South Carolina for driving without a license. Local police detained the Ruff Ryder MC around 2a.m after he was spotted behind the wheel of a 1978 Buick. DMX was reportedly in the vehicle with his five-month-old daughter. The rap star was taken to Spartanburg Detention Center, where he spent five hours before posting bail.

Upon his release from the detention center, DMX spoke to local reporters about the incident.

"No, I didn't have a license ... put the cuffs on me. Brought me here. I paid the money. Basically, just 5 hours wasted for nothing."

This of course is not the first run-in X has had with law enforcement over his actions behind the wheel of a car. The "Slippin'" rapper served time for numerous offenses that include, reckless driving, criminal speeding and driving with a suspended license. Prior to this latest arrest, X received a ticket in January 2012 for not wearing a seat belt while driving in Hollywood.
