Jim Jones Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

Earlier today, rapper Jim Jones was arrested outside his Fair Lawn, New Jersey, home.
Fair Lawn-Saddlebrook Patch reports that officers were called to Jones' home for a complaint about a car illegally parked in front of his house that was
encased in snow. When Sgt. James Corcoran arrived on the scene, Jones approached him to find out what he was doing. Corcoran ran the hip hop star's name through a police database and discovered two warrants. One was for failure to remove snow from the sidewalk, and the other for a vehicle violation.

Jones reportedly disputed the warrants and refused to go to headquarters to pay the fees associated with the charges. He then "got out of line" with the officer, which lead to an arrest for disorderly conduct and obstruction.

Lt. Derek Bastinck of the Fair Lawn Police Department said that residents with these types of outstanding warrants can simply visit the station and pay their fines. But Jones wasn't having it. "If [people with outstanding warrants] agree, we'll just have them come down and pay what they owe, but if they don't agree, they're placed under arrest," Bastinck said.
This isn't Jones' first tangle with law enforcement. In October, he was ordered to pay a fine after pleading guilty to charges surrounding a riot in a Foxwoods, Connecticut casino. No word yet on when he will be released.
