Hip-hop heavyweights Lil Wayne, T.I. and 2 Chainz are gracing the cover of XXL magazine’s July/August issue. Not only that, the rappers get solo covers as well.
The rap trifecta are in the spotlight for a good reason — — all setting out on tour together on the 2013 America’s Most Wanted Music Festival next
month. The North American trek kicks off July 9 in Birmingham, Ala., and
winds down Sept. 1 in Irvine, Calif.
Inside the magazine, Weezy, Tip and Deuce each discuss their success within the past year.
Wayne talks about his recent health issues as well as his passion
for skating. Chainz discusses the success of his gold-selling debut LP,
‘Based on a T.R.U. Story,’ and his upcoming follow-up. Finally, T.I.
talks about his future plans now that he’s a free agent and his goal for
Grand Hustle Entertainment.
Elsewhere in the issue, there are interviews with Mac Miller, Raekwon, music executive Kevin Liles and Danny Brown chops it up with in-demand comedian Hannibal Buress.
