It's better to be safe than sorry. That's the approach Rick Ross is taking after narrowly escaping a drive-by shooting on Monday [Jan. 28].
The Maybach Music Group boss has ordered around-the-clock protection from armed security guards to protect him from further attempts on his life.
A source in the rapper’s camp revealed that Ross had been receiving death threats prior to being shot as he left a South Florida restaurant early Monday morning. It has been widely reported that members of the notorious street gang Gangster Disciples had a beef with the rap star.
The "Hold Me Back" rapper is reportedly viewing the shooting as an “eye-opener” and is prepared to take the necessary steps to prevent any future attempts from being successful.
