Rihanna had to cancel her concert scheduled for 10/03/2013 in Boston after contracting laryngitis.

was scheduled to perform at the TD Garden, but Live Nation postponed
the show on Sunday morning, saying, "Unfortunately, following her sold out
concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's
instruction is unable to perform this evening." She is scheduled to play a show in Baltimore on Tuesday, which Live Nation says is scheduled to go on as planned. The Boston show will be rescheduled.
RiRi herself took to Twitter to apologize to her devotees
Laryngitis is swelling and irritation (inflammation) of the voice box (larynx) that is usually associated with hoarseness or loss of voice.
