The girl group, which was formed by P. Diddy in 2005 on “Making the Band
3,” is currently planning a reunion tour and album, according to TMZ.
Four of the five group members – Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres, were spotted having lunch with their new manager in Los Angeles on Monday. When the photographers asked if Diddy was going to be involved in their reported reunion, Aubrey O’Day responded, “Who’s that?”
Of course, the singers know all too well who Diddy is.
Formed by the music mogul on MTV's "Making the Band" in 2005, he managed
them through two certified platinum albums, 2006's Danity Kane and 2008's Welcome to the Dollhouse.
The group was soon plagued by multiple tensions in 2009. Diddy
reportedly kicked out Aubrey O'Day, following a few on-camera fights, and
supposedly favored Dawn Richard, whom he was grooming for a potential solo
career.
Following Aubrey's departure, Diddy soon fired every other member, excluding Richard.
The group is perhaps most famous for the hit single ”Damaged.”
