Luis Suarez Out, Carlos Tevez In?

Liverpool have entered the race to sign the ever-controversial striker from Manchester City this summer, with Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus also targeting the Argentine.

'Liverpool are considering a shock move for Carlos Tevez as a replacement for Luis Suarez,' claim the Daily Mirror, who put the Argentine's price at around £8m as he has just one year remaining on his contract.

What they seemingly ignore is that Tevez has just one year remaining on his contract because he has repeatedly said that he wants to return to Argentina at the end of his contract.

But never mind logic, let's press ahead with the story. They claim that the 'biggest stumbling block' could be Tevez's £200,000-a-week wages.

That's a hell of a stumbling block.
