J. Cole's album "Born Sinner" has finally snagged the No.1 position on the Billboard 200 after selling 58,000 copies in its third week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The album marks the second chart-topping album for the Roc Nation artist.
"Born Sinner" spent its first two weeks at the chart's No. 2. It competed with Kanye West's "Yeezus" and Wale's "The Gifted" in the first and second week, respectively. So far, "Born Sinner" has sold a total of 439,000 copies.
Interestingly, Billboard said that in the chart history, there have been only 76 albums, including "Born Sinner", that did not debut at No. 1 but rose to the top in subsequent weeks.
At the chart's No.2, last week's winner, Wale's "The Gifted", sold 50,000 copies. West's "Yeezus" stays at No. 3 with 39,000. Soaring from No. 8 to No. 4 is Imagine Dragons' "Night Visions". The album sold additional 36,000.
