Thunder's Liggins Accused Of Punching Girlfriend & Dropping Xbox On Her Head

Some disturbing news coming out of Oklahoma, as Thunder reserve guard, DeAndre Liggins was booked on domestic assault and battery.

Currently, he has not been formally charged, and was released on bail for $8,000. His girlfriend, Jasmine Horton, alleges that Liggins punched her, kicked her, threw a fan on her, and even dropped an Xbox console on her head.

Jasmine Horton, who describes herself as Liggins' girlfriend, said Liggins hit her in the head with his hand and then punched her in the head when she fell on the ground, according to the affidavit filed in Oklahoma County District Court. The couple's 2-year-old son was in the room during the incident at their home, 2309 NW 180, she told police.

Horton locked herself in a bedroom before Liggins reportedly kicked in the door, pushed her down, dropped a fan on her, stomped her with his foot and dropped an Xbox on her head, according to the affidavit.

Sam Presti didn’t comment on the situation as the team is awaiting further information, but Liggins has a non-guaranteed contract, and should this play out and expose these allegations as true, his time with the team could be in jeopardy.
