Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus was suspended from playing football this week, due to his participation in a brawl during a game on Friday night, October 18th.
Broadus' team, representing Diamond Bar High School in California, faced off against their rival, Diamond Ranch High School, and the game became violent after a shoving match ensued after one of the plays had concluded.
Broadus, who wears the number 21 jersey and plays the wide receiver position, punched one of the opposing teammates hard with a hay-maker blow to his helmet while the shoving match was being broken up. Following his punch, a wild hand-to-hand brawl broke out with the benches of both teams being cleared and the field being covered with angry fighting high school students.
After the fight settled, the game was cancelled with around three minutes left to play.
According to reports from TMZ, Broadus, along with other students, has been suspended by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) for his role in the melee. Cordell is currently being scouted by various colleges such as Notre Dame, Duke, LSU and UCLA, among others.
