Jennifer Hudson has been honored with the 2,512th star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in the category of recording. The singer/actress attended the unveiling ceremony on Wednesday afternoon, November 13 with her husband David Otunga and 4-year-old son David Jr.
The former "American Idol" contestant looked emotional during the event. Hudson was seen wiping her eyes and nose with tissue.
Posing with her husband and son, Hudson flexed her muscles as photographers took photos of the family. At one point, he flashed a smile as he sat on the star. Hudson's sister Julia also joined them for photos. "Just got my star on the #WalkOfFame!! Such an honor. @ Hollywood Walk Of Fame," she tweeted after the ceremony.
Hudson will next be seen in a musical film, "Black Nativity". The Oscar-winning actress plays alongside Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson and Mary J. Blige in the flick which will hit U.S. theaters on November 27. "Some of my favorite artists are here. It makes such a fun project and a fun cast," Hudson recently said, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly.
