Wale's latest album, "The Gifted", has debuted at No.1 on Billboard 200 chart. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the rapper's latest album sold 158,000 copies in its first week.
It marks his first album to top the chart as his other top 10 album, 2011's "Ambition", debuted and peaked at No. 2 despite selling 164,000 copies.
Holding its position at the chart's No. 2, J. Cole's "Born Sinner" dropped 72 percent in its second week with 84,000. Meanwhile, last week's No. 1, Kanye West's "Yeezus", rounds out the chart's top three with 65,000.
