Miley Cyrus opened up to U.K.'s Sunday People prior to her much-criticized performance at the MTV VMAs, giving insight of her situation. In her latest interview with the media outlet, the singer admitted that she had some "issues."
"I have so many f***ing issues. I am so f***ed up - everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up," she said. "I don't have a normal life. I take a hiatus every now and again but I'm not good at that."
Miley even said that she was "a workhorse" and got "bored" during vacation. "All I do is work, so I eat to live and to keep going. People are impressed with me because I can sleep for just 45 minutes - I'm used to it," Miley revealed, adding that she ate healthily and did not work out.
"Because I work so much, I'm always on the road so I eat healthily. I have to give my body what it needs to keep going and if you don't then you will crash and burn. I don't get to work out," the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus said. "I do yoga and 30 push-ups every day and try to get my mind right," she shared her tips to stay fit.
Miley garnered much criticism because of her raunchy performance at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, August 25. Wearing nude-colored bra and underwear, she struck provocative poses onstage and ground on Robin Thicke.
