Nipsey Hussle piqued interest (and attracted some buyers) when he announced he was selling copies of his ‘Crenshaw’ album for $100. Although it was available for free around the web, the West Coast rapper Hussle was still able to make $100,000 in a day from ‘Crenshaw’ sales. $10,000 of that profit came from Jay Z.
Shout to Jay Z for buying 100 copies of #Crenshaw! http://t.co/0q0ymjOiFg http://t.co/L2HGopo7ObThe rapper tweeted that Jay bought 100 copies of ‘Crenshaw.’

Hov posted a picture of those 100 copies on his Life and Times blog, while Nipsey posted a picture of the transaction on his Instagram for proof.
At a pop-up show hosted by DJ Drama at Los Angeles’ North Fairfax Avenue, Nispey also signed and sold physical copies of ‘Crenshaw.’ The $100 copies are still being sold through iamproud2pay.com. The mixtape itself is a whopping 21 tracks long featuring guest appearances from Dom Kennedy, James Fauntleroy, Z-Ro and Slim Thug.
Nipsey is planning to embark on the Crenshaw world tour starting later in the fall, although the exact dates and venues have yet to be announced.
